The service AHICE was created to provide easier access to information about events in the domain of art history in four Central European countries: the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia. CENTROPA is the first English-language journal to examine the cultural and historical legacies from all chronological periods of Central European countries as a product of both their unique development and of their interaction with other nations.

The journal's thematic issues are devoted to architecture, urban planning, landscape design, painting, architectural decoration, sculpture, and preservation. The articles are prepared by scholars from both central Europe and the west.

Art Margins is an e-journal dedicated to contemporary visual culture, including contemporary art, of Central and Eastern Europe. It covers all media, including architecture,new media, and film.

The German Studies Association is the national and international association of scholars in all fields of German Studies. Its interests span the period from early times to the present Federal Republic of Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.

The SocialEast Research Forum considers the art and visual culture of Eastern Europe from the end of the Second World War to the fall of the Berlin Wall, through collaborative projects, exhibitions and seminars. The forum will be based on cooperation between leading scholars from across Europe, as well as the involvement of curators, artists and other professionals who deal in their work with issues of art and memory. The goal of SocialEast is to encourage comparative research into the art history of the countries of Eastern and Central Europe, as well as consider wider issues in socialist visual culture.
